This is the easiest soup recipe you’ll ever see, besides broth and noodles, of course. Soup can be a lot of work and simmer all day, or it can be simple and quick. This soup is the latter!
Every ingredient in this soup is an item you likely already have stored in your pantry. Even better, it’s only five ingredients total. It’s a perfect way to clean out your pantry, and eat something delicious and easy!
Easy Pantry Soup
- 2 cans chili beans any kind
- 1 can diced tomatoes with jalepeno (preferred)
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can corn
- 1-2 tbsp chili powder or favorite seasoning mix
- Open all cans.
- Pour each item into large saucepan.
- Cook on the stovetop over medium-heat until heated through. Stir frequently.
- Serve warm. Top with cheese, crackers, or avocado.
See how short this recipe is? So easy for quick weeknight dinner for the family. Pair it with cornbread or my homemade artisan bread, and maybe some fruit slices or a brownie for dessert. Cozy-up afterward with a warm blanket and family-friendly movie. You won’t have many dishes to do since you can make this soup in just one pot!
