It’s apple season y’all! My favorite season of the whole year–the quality of the apples this time of year is like none other. Sweet, sour, crisp, oh my!
Growing up my mom always made a brown sugar and cream cheese apple dip, which I still love. But now I prefer something a bit more satisfying with fat and protein at a meal or snack with my apple slices.
So I created this peanut butter yogurt dip with a tad of sweetness and satisfying fat and protein to go with the fiber/carbohydrate from apples.
Apples (any kind but my favorites are honeycrisp or fuji) go great with this dip, but you could really just eat it with a spoon, too. It’s that good!

How to get the kids involved:
Kids as young as two (or even a couple months shy) can help with stirring and mixing.
Older kids can measure and pour, or slice apples.
This makes a perfect after-school or after-dinner snack for the whole family!
Take it a step further and enjoy this recipe while reading books or learning about apples, discussing which are your favorites, or after taking a trip to the orchard.
